The Garden

The Pierce Street Community Garden was established in 2021 collaboration with Team Big Hearts from the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance Leadership Lynchburg’s 45th class. The Garden is located the behind the old Calloway Store.

After an eight month process, the garden was officially opened on September 30 as a hub for community engagement, a shared space to help promote sustainable agriculture and to provide a fresh food source for the neighborhood.

The Garden is always open to the public and welcomes volunteers to sign up to help with planting, harvesting and general maintenance.
